Blade technology
A sharper line starts at the contact point.
RUVO’s DLC cutting surface is selected to reduce friction and manage heat during repeated professional passes. Blade alignment and tooth geometry are tuned for a clean feed through the cutting path, helping the barber read the result without forcing the tool.
A blade still depends on correct adjustment, cleaning, and lubrication. Our product care guidance treats maintenance as part of the cutting system, not an afterthought.
Motor performance
Torque that stays useful under pressure.
The 8,600 RPM drive platform is tuned around consistent usable force. It is designed to keep the blade moving through dense sections without encouraging excess hand pressure or repeated correction passes.
Motor speed is one part of the result. Housing balance, blade condition, section size, and the barber’s technique determine how that power reaches the hair.
Battery and charging
Power delivery for a full working rhythm.
Up to 180 minutes of runtime supports long station sessions while the battery control system is designed to deliver steady performance through the usable charge cycle.
Charge on a stable, dry surface with the supplied charging equipment. Avoid storing the tool fully depleted for long periods, and let a hot tool return to room temperature before charging.
Ergonomics
Control lives in the balance.
Grip geometry, working mass, and sightline around the blade influence every small correction. RUVO housings keep the hand close to the cutting action and reduce unnecessary vibration so angle changes feel intentional.
Good ergonomics do not prescribe one grip. They give the barber enough balance and visibility to adapt naturally across bulk work, detail passes, and finishing.
