Remove loose material first
Power the tool off and brush loose hair away from the blade, housing seams, and air openings. Cleaning dry debris first prevents it from turning into residue when disinfectant is applied.
Inspect before the next service
Check blade alignment, unusual sound, heat, and charge level. A short inspection catches small changes before they affect comfort or the finish of a cut.
